Favourable location, the hotel was close to a bus stop. The staff was great, helped with every request. My room included a refrigerator, coffee/tea making facilities, and a dining area.

the setting is marvellous and brilliant, right by botanic gardens and city levada, from where there are wonderful views of the city and a good bakery. the place to have lunch just a pleasant stroll away from the hotel is burger king.

I got incredible value for my money with a spacious room, well-equipped kitchen, and a sunny living room. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the city and an enjoyable walk to the center. The staff, especially Ligia, were incredibly helpful and made me feel right at home.
The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety.

The location is great, right next to the city center, and it's convenient to ask the driver to drop you off at stop 2 when taking the Aerobus from the airport.

Good location, near bus stop. Walk to city center 15mins, challenging for adults. Family needs bus return. Multiple buses close by. Spacious, clean room. Good sleep for us and 4yo. Nice, helpful owner. Next to shop, bakery, pharmacy. Terrace seating. Well-equipped studio. Attentive hostess. Hilltop views of city. Frequent city buses. Clean, bright, cooking facilities. Hostess found me.

spacious and very clean room - great location close to bus stop with multiple options - lovely terrace overlooking the city - helpful and kind owner - good amenities including hot water and reliable Wi-Fi.

I had a wonderful stay at Rochinha Cozy Home in a smaller but well-equipped studio. the terrace surrounded by banana trees was a perfect spot to relax. the lady owner, Ligia, was a attentive hostess who was always available to offer advice. the studio's location on a hill provided stunning views of the city. the walk down to the center of Funchal was pleasant, and for the return trip, there were frequent city buses available. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during my holiday.

The view from the terrace was stunning and I really enjoyed sitting out there. The location was convenient with a nearby shop, bakery, and pharmacy. Plus, the accommodation was well-equipped with a fridge, stove, and dishes.
There were several disappointments during my stay. The room was not properly cleaned, with dust under the bed and mold on the walls, lamps, shower curtain, floor, and window blinds.
